The link stays the same, so anywhere you already pasted it still works.

Can I cut something out of the middle?
Yes. Snip the timeline at both edges of the part you want gone and drag the remaining pieces together.
Does trimming change the link I already shared?
No. The link is stable, so an edit reaches everyone who already has it.
